There Are No Mistakes

We couldn’t make a “mistake” if we wanted to. Katherine Hayward firmly believed that all we experience is in accordance with karma (the Law of Cause and Effect) and the lessons that we must learn in order to be greater, kinder, loving and more compassionate people. Each experience and our response to it determines the degree of the spirituality we achieve.

Understanding that everything we experience is meant to be and our “destiny” allows us to be accepting and grateful for our lives and each experience – no matter how difficult, challenging or unpleasant it appears to be. It is the way we respond to the events that matters the most. If we respond with hatred or resentment, it hurts us sooner or later. Whereas if we respond to all experiences (no matter how disagreeable) with love and equanimity along with gratitude, it is very beneficial to our spiritual growth and evolution. It also helps to be of service and example to others.

It is really helpful to accept our “lot” and to know that all is ultimately for the best (long-term). Then we come to realize that nothing is by “accident” and that we are precisely in the right place at the right time to meet our destiny and to co-create with our brothers and sisters a planet of beauty, compassion and kindness.
